Business Outlook
Pros
Netpulse is a company on the rise. Since I started, they've gone through a major pivot, re-focused and are making a lot of progress with the new app product. It seems like every company meeting we are celebrating a big new customer and seeing more exciting news. I feel like I got in during "the quiet before the storm" while Netpulse was still figuring things out. Now everything is really picking up and we could be a big hit!
The management team is almost all new, which made me nervous at first, but so far I've been impressed with all of them. The company has become significantly more transparent, and I feel like I have a solid understanding of what is going on throughout each department.
They've hired a lot of new people, and I've generally been impressed with all of them as well. There are a lot of team events/fitness classes, and I can tell that they are putting a lot of effort into evolving the company culture as Netpulse grows.
The pace is definitely fast. Every team is doing a lot at once and in some cases that requires intense dedication. Personally, I like this but others looking for something more casual could be turned off.
Cons
- Some of the new employees are remote, so I hope we make them feel like they are a part of the team too.
- Intense work pace (again, for me that's a pro)
