Pros
I know it might sound like an exaggeration, but there's not a lot of good aspects of the company. There are a handful of departments in the company which are shielded from the rest of the company where you can have a very successful career here.
Cons
Netrix behaves similarly to sizeable multi-billion dollar enterprises, which seems by design. They have the slogan (#One$COMANYNAME) and claim to be customer evangelists. They have monthly town halls that boast profitability and contain corporate speak with some brief glimpses of the current company direction. They pushed people back to the office, can't give sizable raises, are not always transparent, etc. It's the standard fare of a large company with the usual justifications you'd find in a large company. At least in large companies, you're attached to a big name and have access to a wide range of resources. The catch: Netrix isn't a large company like Comcast, Microsoft, or Amazon. It's a small company that was initially (and is at its core) an IT company. The recent acquisitions are an attempt to break into other industries in which it was previously dabbling in. Its parent company bought around six companies to acquire more talent and resources. Acquisitions are always rough (nonetheless six); however, most of the appointed vice presidents do not understand the industries of the acquired companies and aren't well seasoned to provide leadership, which is crucial in a situation like this. So there's a lot of disorganization, lack of direction, and lack of (genuine) employee empathy. To succeed at Netrix, you'll have to have leadership or be the person below the vice presidents who can provide leadership and direction to them. Many employees saw the writing on the wall, and entire departments and prior company owners left. It's quite unfortunate as I don't think it had to turn out this way. I don't like writing such a negative review, but I did try to make this as positive as possible. I learned a lot about the corporate world through my time here, which I'm thankful for. I met a lot of great people too. I wish Netrix the best of luck, and thank you for the opportunity.
