Pros

- Looks like the business is good, so things are moving towards an IPO. - Company has quite a few "wellness days" over the year - i.e. extra holidays (likely to somewhat compensate for the items listed in the Cons section). - The CEO seems to maintain a culture of internal transparency, so you get informed about the company successes or shortcomings.

Cons

Engineering is a total mess: - Forget about work - life balance as you will be pinged over Slack around the clock, people are expecting you to take meetings meetings at like 9pm to accommodate other time zones. - Leadership cares about nothing but how Jira tickets flow. It is more important to make sure your tickets look good than to actually do work. - Priorities are changing every 5 minutes. - Unless you take time out of your nights and weekends, it is impossible to get anything done due to distractions and changing priorities. - Insane inefficiencies seriously affecting the entire engineering coming from home grown deployment tools, that are outdated and way under-documented. The collective wasted time on these is incredible. Yet the leadership does not priorities replacing those.

Pros

-CEO is extremely forward-thinking, but still seems very genuine and practical. That culture trickles down. -Great customer solutions, so I can compete toe-to-toe and know that it doesn't have to start with pricing concessions, politics and FUD around competition, to obscure product shortcomings. -Benefits are outstanding, IMO. -There seem to be many opportunities to advance, and I have seen a lot of internal promotions in my first 30 days. -Culture is great, and has a strong foundation, but I can already see some polish wearing off at the employee level. You can't put wrong people in place and expect them to pay it forward.

Cons

-I have offered up three referrals and not one has received any follow-up outside of the confirmation email. -No 401K match, but I hear rumors.
