Pros

It is hit or miss depending on the team you are on, got to work with some really good people, flexible PTO

Cons

I have seen other comments saying this is the white boy club & that could not be more true. The reason I say this is worse than Cerner is because at least at Cerner all employees know & openly can talk about the downsides of the company there - where as at Netsmart their entire "culture" is to be obsessed with Netsmart. I have never seen anything like it. No real conversations, and no willingness to change. I started at this job at the beginning of the pandemic so was almost entirely remote for almost 2 years before they forced everyone back in. They had no alignment on the wfh rules so that meant that directors got to decide even if your role could be done entirely remote. I submitted a doctors note request to work even ONE day a week from home due to a health issue & HR drug me along for 6 months making me bring in more notes, an entire letter from my doctor, and me having to follow up several times just to say at the end that they weren't allowing it. The only reasoning I ever heard about why there was no room for even a hybrid schedule was because "conversations at the coffee station are important" - meanwhile I would be sitting at my cubicle all day every day with every single meeting over teams due to people working in other places in the country & no need to be in the office at all. Then when I quit & explained this situation to my manager I was instructed to let HR know so that the company could do better...HR..the people who were responsible for the whole thing. Lastly - there is ZERO training in place or even clear processes to figure things out on your own. You will constantly be encouraged to reach out for help just to be met with no answer. They will then blame the employee by saying that it is hard for some people to keep up in a "fast paced environment" when in reality everything is so slow moving because it is near impossible to get responses or approvals from people across the orgs.

Pros

-Upper management on this team is incredible. -Flexible Paid Time Off(Pro and Con) -Very good at easing newcomers into corporate life. -Management actually values and considers input even from an associate with less experience.

Cons

Pay is not great, but definitely a decent chance of getting good bumps if you put in the work. Benefits are just okay. Flexible Paid Time Off(Pro and Con)

Pros

A lot of diversity in the work you do, which can bring a lot of variety in what a typical work day may look like. Most of the management is good. They like to hire and promote from within.

Cons

The company mainly cares about client facing people, everyone else kind of takes a backseat on any sort of recognition.
