Pros

Very good job security Union power integration is better than anywhere else. Rail pension scheme Finally have staff leisure travel discount though a watered down version than promised. Once in the you can move around in different roles. Not many perks compared to private sector companies and perks we do have are be try limited such as the cycle to work scheme which has very few bikes available. Diverse and inclusive though issues still exist including racism.

Cons

Too many managers A director for just about every word in the English dictionary. Still a lot of bullying Try and force training courses down your throat such as business ethics because of past directors who lined their own pockets. Network Rail policies contradict eachother. Every manager has an idea that causes issues for projects (always moving the goalposts) Wastes money and shows nothing for its Throws money at the wrong places Pays well over the odds for poor quality supply’s for example what should cost £100 will cost tax payers £1000, likewise £1000 becomes £10,000 so forth… Doesn’t learn from its past mistakes, or forgets. Doesn’t value employees opinions and instead makes errors. Directions of future unclear Leadership non existent
