Pros

I had an absolute wonderful experience while I was with New Acquisitions. Worked here for about 8 months, had to relocate for family. But the marketing and sales techniques that I had acquired at New Acquisitions have been vital to my success. They help you understand basic strategies of success that you can transfer over into everyday life. At the end of the day we all want to be successful and want to push our lives forward to the next step, to better our self and our family. And working for a place that surrounds you around success and team work can be so gratifying and life changing.

Cons

About the only thing I would change would have to be the commute, it was not ideal for me

Pros

You might meet some cool co-workers while working here. I personally did. Also, the office park this place is headquartered at is pretty nice.

Cons

You have to wake up real early, dress in business professional every morning, and be at this uptown office park by 7 AM. You will be expected to arrive early, even if you don't get paid (I was SPECIFICALLY told to arrive more than 15 minutes earlier than I was scheduled for or else I would be considered "late"). Once you arrive, you will do very little and talk about stuff that could have just been an email for about an hour in a half. You will be expected to write everything down in a notebook to prove you are "paying attention". Then you will leave, go stand in the frozen foods aisle of a Costco for 8 hours whilst approaching and annoying passing grocery shoppers with the same tagline over and over until you can finally convince someone to subscribe to a lowly-rated water delivery service or whatever product they are having you promote at the time, which you will get $50 for. If you don't do these enough times by the end of the week, well, then congratulations you just wasted your time.

New Acquisitions Response

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that our team members are only scheduled and compensated for their agreed-upon hours, and we do not require unpaid work. Punctuality and professionalism are expectations in any client-facing role, but they are never tied to unpaid time. Our morning meetings are structured training sessions focused on skill development, communication, and performance coaching - which are essential in a sales and marketing environment. Field marketing in retail settings is also clearly communicated during the hiring process, as it is a core part of the position. We strive to be transparent about responsibilities, compensation structure, and growth opportunities from the start, and we encourage candidates to ask questions to ensure the role aligns with their goals. We appreciate all feedback and continuously work to improve the experience for our team.
