Pros

Friendly co-workers that you might build a bond with

Cons

The company itself is just a branch for a larger corporation that’s given its own brand to maintain some kind of ego for the regional manager, the job you applied for is most likely not the job you will be working. You will be selling direct tv and cell phones in a sams club alongside a plethora of business and marketing students/ graduates whose eyes gleam with envy and the prospect of being the owner constantly bragging about his new bonus Rolex that he will drop the 14 grand for in order to make it gold plated and when he isn’t bragging about his newfound wealth he is contradicting himself in every meeting. Not to mention that every morning you’re meeting at a shabby office, discussing the same reductive things over and over as well as listening to the owner project literally the same speech as if the office wasn’t a big enough echo chamber as is. I cannot stress this enough that this place is a joke and hell hole all in one. Oh! And expect to drive far otp with no compensation for your gas nor the wear and tear your car will experience, leave as soon as possible or you will surely have drank the kool aid.

Of course, not everyone is perfect. As far as our management staff, your ascertion here is correct in some ways, he did achieve a significant promotion and should be proud of that. Our office is not shabby, it is newly remodeled and we tend to get compliments on it daily. Pros

You might meet some cool co-workers while working here. I personally did. Also, the office park this place is headquartered at is pretty nice.

Cons

You have to wake up real early, dress in business professional every morning, and be at this uptown office park by 7 AM. You will be expected to arrive early, even if you don't get paid (I was SPECIFICALLY told to arrive more than 15 minutes earlier than I was scheduled for or else I would be considered "late"). Once you arrive, you will do very little and talk about stuff that could have just been an email for about an hour in a half. You will be expected to write everything down in a notebook to prove you are "paying attention". Then you will leave, go stand in the frozen foods aisle of a Costco for 8 hours whilst approaching and annoying passing grocery shoppers with the same tagline over and over until you can finally convince someone to subscribe to a lowly-rated water delivery service or whatever product they are having you promote at the time, which you will get $50 for. If you don't do these enough times by the end of the week, well, then congratulations you just wasted your time.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that our team members are only scheduled and compensated for their agreed-upon hours, and we do not require unpaid work. Punctuality and professionalism are expectations in any client-facing role, but they are never tied to unpaid time. Our morning meetings are structured training sessions focused on skill development, communication, and performance coaching - which are essential in a sales and marketing environment. Field marketing in retail settings is also clearly communicated during the hiring process, as it is a core part of the position. We strive to be transparent about responsibilities, compensation structure, and growth opportunities from the start, and we encourage candidates to ask questions to ensure the role aligns with their goals. We appreciate all feedback and continuously work to improve the experience for our team.
