Pros
Good pay; neat tech; some of the smartest, friendliest people I've ever worked with; a management team that is clearly trying despite trip ups.
Cons
New Relic has a lot going for it but I find that's highly dependent on your team and manager. Upward career movement can be glacial if you end up on the wrong team. The tone of the company has been changing lately. One of our core values is "bold" but the company has made it clear that being too bold is a fireable offense. We recently launched a redesigned product which involved months of slogging through long hours and deadlines. We're now on a slightly-less-hectic continuation of that death march, but the trend continues: "There's never enough time to slow down and do things right."
