Pros
Great people are still working there (people who have not been dismissed or have not left). Prior to the pandemic, this office was one of the best tech offices in town.
Cons
Secretive and quiet dismissals. The company avoids difficult questions during company-wide meetings. Speed is considered more important than accuracy and doing things the right way from the beginning. The company's values are a joke. Senior executives do not rely on them at all. There are too many proprietary solutions (such as data stores) rather than industry standard open source technology. Too much autonomy for the teams, and lack of standards, means reinventing many wheels.
