Pros
The work life balance has always been good and in general the people tend to be really nice. For the Portland area it's probably one of the few options for a tech company so it's good and you'll notice that most of the positive reviews are from the Portland office. But in comparison to the bay area there are definitely better places to work.
Cons
- Comp. One of the worst equity and bonus packages of my career - Execs. Can't make a decision and the good ones have all left the company - Lew the CEO and all the other C level folks are checked out and ineffective - Decision making is a rampant problem here - Too much debt incurred over the years is causing virtually every department to suffer from too much to do and not enough resources. This is the sign of a poorly run company that had success but failed to look towards the future. - CEO cried at an all hands and compared coming out as a conservative to coming out as LGBTQ. This was after it was discovered one of his foundations was discovered to have donated to a Christian organization that discriminates against LGBTQ folks. Also his kids go to school there. Need I say more?
