Pros
I have been in the Army, worked at other retail residential real estate brokerages and there is no other culture like being at New Western. Constant learning and growth opportunities. It has given me the bait, tackle, fishing holes, rod, and everything I need to be successful to fish, except for fishing for me. I love the aspect that I fish on my own, but New Western has given me the people and the culture to excel at something I love to do and that is to work with people who happen to love real estate and making neighborhoods and communities improve.
Cons
With any 1099 job, it seems a bit unstructured at times. Hard to find a consistent routine, when things are always constantly adjusting. I dealt a lot of that with in the Army, but it was different in the sense, you had a direct supervisor and even specific tasks for the day. That is self driven in this job and is not always the easiest.
