Pros
-Great people to work with -Partial benefits for part time staff -Some flexibility in work hours -PTO is somewhat generous in comparison to other organizations
Cons
-HR is not the easiest to deal with -Insane amount of nepotism throughout the system -Not a lot of room for growth and more often than not promotions aren't merit based -New system brought in many inexperienced managerial staff into branches causing conflicts -Low pay and raises are based upon contract negotiations and NYPL "never has any money"
