Pros
The best part about working here are the friends you make. They make going to work every day bearable but also make it hard to leave the job when you find a better opportunity.
Cons
The management here is extremely poor. Favoritism is obvious and promotions aren’t based on merit but years worked. They underpay and overwork their employees. Don’t even think about getting overtime pay as its extremely frowned upon. Managers very rarely will approve overtime unless it’s the holidays and you’re setting up last minute promotions for Black Friday. There’s also layoffs constantly, restructures, and clear ageism. Many of the older workers in various departments have been laid off despite having glowing reviews from their managers. Recently, they started to rebrand on Instagram. All their posts on employee appreciations and quotes from employees raving about the company cannot be trusted. Many of those same employees have since been laid off. Working here is very stressful especially in a sales role since management sets unreasonable goals. They like to set higher goals to impress the executives but every year they miss the goal by a long shot. The politics between management can also affect your job. Everyone is out for themselves and only care about reaching their own goals without taking into consideration that if they all worked together, the outcome can be even greater.
