Pros

Clean and modern office space, with excellent equipment to do your job. It was a privilege to work with some great individuals at Newegg. Good benefits.

Cons

Downsizing and restructuring. -Layoffs have been pretty much a constant thing over the past year and a half. Employees are stressed and morale is at a dead zero. Get used to micromanagement and surveillance, with your every move being tracked. If you don't come into the office during a global pandemic, you are looked at as not putting in enough effort. (Covid is having a field day here) You will be overworked and underpaid, with a possibility of being replaced by someone cheaper and less experienced. It's very rare to move up and if you do, good luck on getting compensated accordingly. Newegg has lost their core audience and no longer values customer service. YOY sales have been on steady decline, and upper management seems to be drawing new business ideas out of a hat.

Pros

Great learning opportunities with exposure to multiple aspects of the business. Fast-paced environment that encourages continuous growth and adaptability. Clear team structure and well-defined responsibilities, allowing employees to stay focused and execute efficiently. Plenty of opportunities to take ownership of projects and make a meaningful impact. Collaborative teams and strong cross-functional communication.

Cons

As a global company with a diverse workforce, communication styles can vary across teams. In some situations, discussions may take place in languages other than English, which can occasionally create challenges for employees who are not fluent in those languages.
