Pros
I made a lot friend there. I think it was because we all felt the same. You do get very hands on training if you are entry level. If you are beyond that, read below. It's a great place to learn and looks very good on your resume because it's a major retailer and a very big brand name. You also might learn Chinese if you do not know how to speak it already. Again, I stress that one of the best things about newegg is the people. There's probably about 20 people there to avoid, but the rest are fine.
Cons
Management was completely insane. I think they need to hire someone to constantly remind them that they are in the United States and not China. There's something called labor laws. There's no parking. They hire a lot of arrogant people to be in senior positions. That is to say not everyone is bad. If you are an expect in your field, prepare to teach a team outsourced to china or train your counterpart. It's to replace you, I mean "help" you. Wages are next to nothing. Raises are very small and benefits are expensive. Management pretends to care about the workers.
