Pros

The only good thing that I can say about my role with NKF is that the base pay was average/fair. Bonus pay is just OK. There are some good people there.

Cons

Terrible leadership. The company stock is a joke and won't budge. Very poor benefits. No retirement contribution at all. Terrible health plan(s). Awful work/life balance. No positive company culture at all. The company is very disjointed after several acquisitions. You can't really get administrative support in an effective way. If you have to travel, be prepared for the company to borrow money from you with a promise to reimburse you IF you follow their complicated and antiquated reimbursement process. In other words, they won't give you corporate cards. The technology and consulting department(s) are in complete shambles with terrible leadership. This company has no appetite to be aggressive or progressive. If I was a customer, I wouldn't do business with them based on what I know about the internal practices and the type of people they have hired. At this point, I'm guessing they've lost as many clients in consulting engagements as they have kept. All due to very poor leadership, lack of vision, no integrity, and lack of discipline. It will be quite easy to pick off their clients one by one.

Pros

When I first joined Newmark in 2021 I could not have been more happy with the company, my manager, leadership, compensation, growth, and opportunities

Cons

The company made the decision to replace US based workers with employees based in Mexico so that they could offer lower wages. It was extremely disappointing to find that after almost five years with the company that I would be replaced by employees who could afford to accept lower wages.
