Pros

The company has good name recognition in the market thanks mainly to the former Grubb & Ellis name. Benefits and compensation are adequate. The corporate office does an acceptable job of promoting itself to procure business that can then be dispersed to various regions.

Cons

Local management was not organized. The environment is one of the company being first, last and always. Employee satisfaction is not a major corporate concern. As a transaction professional (commission based), the compensation program is average at best. The company does not generate any feeling of loyalty from the company to the employee. There is no real sense of belonging.

Pros

When I first joined Newmark in 2021 I could not have been more happy with the company, my manager, leadership, compensation, growth, and opportunities

Cons

The company made the decision to replace US based workers with employees based in Mexico so that they could offer lower wages. It was extremely disappointing to find that after almost five years with the company that I would be replaced by employees who could afford to accept lower wages.
