Pros
- "cool," startuppy environment - some intelligent and driven people (largely outside of leadership) - decent benefits, unlimited PTO - focus on diversity and inclusion, including exec support
Cons
- instability: company is largely run by an inexperienced exec team, who preaches "radical transparency" but in fact does not know how to run the business. folks are quickly hired and then laid off - somewhat of a cycle here, so be prepared that the carpet can be yanked from underneath you at any time - reactive approach to business, rather than proactive: decisions are made without (apparent) regard for longer-term strategy - miserable culture and environment: while it's great to have wine and beer in the fridge, it's less great to only have two camps of people: those who never unplug and are rewarded by this lack of balance by senior leadership, and others who come in at 10, leave at 3, and do the bare minimum - favoritism: if you aren't one of management's favorite few, you are viewed as somewhat expendable - this is a very political environment
