Pros

like with every company, your coworkers are what makes it worth it. incredibly smart, hardworking, and driven people work at nexamp, and the mission of clean energy and a sustainable future is very important to a lot of the people who work there, including myself. in my first few months before things really hit the wall, I received a lot of constructive feedback and assistance with professional development which really helped me and was much appreciated. benefits are fairly middle of the road, but having a company funded hsa and commuter expenses covered was great.

Cons

the burnout is real and seems to affect almost every level and department of the company. there is incredible urgency to work faster and churn out results (because there are so many farms under construction and going online) but it means that just by keeping up, you don't have time to improve the processes or stop and think. overtime for some roles is almost an expectation, which only makes the burnout worse. when I left there was increased pressure to 'do more with less', but when it already feels like you don't have much to work with, where's the light at the end of the tunnel? at times it can feel like there's no end to the craziness which can be awful for morale. the turnover only adds to the feeling of burnout and hopelessness at times. I never had a manager for a full year while I was there, which greatly affected my personal development and relationship with nexamp.
