Pros

- A great place to start and continue a career in software development. - Flexible work environment providing a good work/life balance. - Good management and upper leadership creating a developer focused environment. - Managers encourage feedback and constructive criticism striving to do better. - Opportunities to work on new technologies and projects keeps things interesting and challenging. - Great culture. People helping each other, focusing on teamwork collaboration and people helping each other. Lots of fun both in the office and monthly events.

Cons

- Not a good place for people who just want to collect a paycheck. Many of the bad reviews are people who simply weren't good at their craft and were pushed to be better technologists or team mates. There are places those types of people can hide-out and have a career, Nexient is not right for them. - Some skillsets have long periods on bench. When that is the case, those people might need to work for short periods in an area that isn't their specialty. - No 401k matching - Not a lot of PTO/sick time

I really appreciate your perspective as a person who has been with our business for a long time and helped fuel our growth. As you know, we’ve worked really hard to build a strong culture where people can build their careers with support from their peers and leadership. Thanks for being part of that. I’m taking your advice to heart as well. Our people work hard and it’s important that our benefits are competitive.

Completely remote position. Good package. Employee Friendly management.

Cons

Got acquired by another big company and then layoffs happened. Policies got less employee friendly.

Pros

Had good exciting opportunities to explore technically

Cons

Some of the management folks were short sighted and forced technical teams on temporary solutions rather than long term solutions to satisfy the clients
