The frustration comes from being expected to complete numerous administrative and procedural requirements, including documenting ancillary tasks and circle-slashing every applicable procedure, while still maintaining top efficiency. Employees are also expected to keep up with a demanding maintenance schedule, restore downed turbines quickly, and manage the workload despite ongoing staffing shortages. These competing priorities make it extremely challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance, and burnout occurs frequently as employees struggle to meet the company’s expectations safely and thoroughly.
