Pros
The culture here at FPL attends to the whole person. The company supports your health and respects your time for family and leisure. There is an appreciation for working hard and playing hard. In my group especially, there is an underlying respect and appreciation shown for each others contributions. In the five years I have been here, I have yet to encounter the backbiting that I hear occurs at some other large corporations.
Cons
As a public company in a governmentally regulated industry, we follow a lot of guidelines strictly. I happen to have an avid appreciation for this, however, i can see people whom may not be as disciplined or those whom may prefer more freedoms and lattitudes not being as comfortable.
