      Horrible Company - HVAC/R TECH Nextech Employee Review

      Pros

      The only good thing about this company was the paycheck.

      Cons

      First off I was misled on multiple subjects in the interview. Immediately was told if I did not comply to being on call for multiple states termination was the only option. If you enjoy driving out of state in the middle of the night and making it home in time to run calls the next day then this is the place for you. 80 plus hours a week plus on cal never ends. It is constant as this company does not hire enough staff in any one area to properly cover the service demands. You will be a number not an employee. There are no opportunities for advancement and favoritism is blatant.

      Pros

      The company strongly promotes from within and fosters a great team environment. Many techs who’ve left have come back within a year, drawn by the Nextech culture and way of life.

      Cons

      Benefits may not be the most competitive—tool allowance and bonuses could be stronger—but they’re still appreciated and show the company makes an effort to take care of its people.
