Pros

I checked this site BEFORE I applied to Nextlink and all I have to say is I am so glad I ignored the negative reviews. This is by far the best place I have ever worked at. By no means do you have to "get in" good with management to enjoy working here or to succeed here. As long as you do your job the way it's supposed to be done, you don't have anything to worry about. Management regularly hands out gift cards for meeting certain goals or sometimes just to say thank you for doing a good job. I've had a manager send me a text just to say "thank you" and "good job". Who does that!? The starting pay is competitive, tools are provided and PAID FOR and vehicles are provided free of charge along with gas cards and there is plenty of overtime if you want it. If you need help of any kind, management is a phone call away and I have even seen management leave the office to go help out a tech in the field who is behind. I have seen other departments help out a different department than their own. Teamwork is not something that is only preached here, it is actually practiced. There are just too many things great about this place to list. The bottom line is if you do the job you get hired to do and you do it right, you have it made here because that is all they want. If you are one of those people that like to spend all your time and energy trying to get out of work or leave early then yeah, you won't like it here very much. All I can say is that I hope I NEVER have to work any place else.

Cons

This is a hard area because I don't really feel there are any cons to working here. If there was a gun to my head and I had to come up with something, I would say that maybe management hangs on to people they should let go of for too long. I suppose that's actually more of a pro though because it shows that they will bend over backwards to work with you and help you succeed at the job.

Pros

Great training Supportive management. Laid back coworkers. Great entry point if you have 0 experience or knows nothing about technology 4 days work week. Decent temporary job.

Cons

10 hours work day. Fast Food worker's pay rate. Some lower level management tries a bit too hard to show out. Classic Corporate Values. Insincerity. "Positivity bombing" They will tell you to be yourself, but fellow neurospicy folks please remember that it's still a corporate environment. Rigid and strict structure. Lazy way to micromanage and monitor lower level employees from middle & upper management. All the cons that goes with being a lower level peon in a corporation.
