Pros

Some of the people you meet (on the production floor and at your level, of course) are awesome

Cons

The good employees that are there on time/everyday, productive, loyal, have great work ethics, always ask if they can help if they happen to have downtime, do everything they are told or asked to do are treated the worst. Be a favorite and call in 2 days and leave before lunch the other 3 in the same week and you will be ok and promoted BUT if your not a favorite....you are frowned upon and treated poorly if you call in, for any reason. Don't look forward to or expect to get to take the PTO you have accrued because if one of your co-workers can't cover the time you are requesting off, it will be denied. You can apply internally for a position that you have covered on a daily basis for a year and a half for absences, breaks and lunch breaks...pretty much set up the work flow so it is organized and runs smoothly but they will hire someone from outside the company with NO experience that YOU get to train but were not qualified to be promoted to because there in not a chance for advancement even though they will tell you there is. If you are good at your position, that is where you are being held hostage for the duration of employment. You have to constantly lie and tell the caller that you will have the MD paged to return the call knowing full well that its not going to happen...especially if the case is already "closed" but is technically still open for several more days. I could go on and on with all the reasons you should not work here but i don't think they would post a book. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for employment.

Pros

I appreciated the opportunity to use my nursing background in a different way and develop skills outside of direct patient care.

Cons

The constant focus on productivity goals sometimes made the job feel more like meeting numbers than focusing on the quality of the review process.
