Pros

If you are desperate for a job, come work here. Recently the CEO was fired. This confirmed what we all knew but were forbidden to talk about. Mounting client losses caused by mis-management meant the organization was not growing in a similar way to competitors in the industry. A new CEO signals a possible turn around - but we have heard/seen this story before. Every few years after every new merger management uses the opportunity to wipe the slate clean of past failures and pretend like this is a new beginning. It remains to be seen if the new CEO will clean house and transform the organization into a modern and current MSP that can grow.

Cons

This organization has failed to keep clients and grow into larger ones. This can be attributed to one thing alone. Horrible Operational Managers and Executive Leadership. Many warned them the shift to Public Cloud was coming and that the organization needed to retooled. Engineers and Managers who advocated for it and became experts in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud - gave up and left - quickly snatched up by large organizations. Today NT is not even speaking the same language of many of these larger clients. Managers don't know Public Cloud. To this day they have not put it in the Job Descriptions for new Engineers. Even if they did how are they supposed to identify this talent if they don't have the tech knowledge themselves to identify who has the skill set? Successful tech organizations are managed by Engineers with current skills sets. Current management is "fat and happy" with the status quo. Without more changes at the top, transformation will never come. In less then two years it will be replaying the same soundtrack of yet another new CEO explaining how this time things are going to be different.

I appreciate your feedback, and while I understand your perspective, I disagree - transformation is already coming. I understand you've seen/heard this before from previous leadership, and I'm sorry you left NexusTek before seeing the transformation in action. We are committed to making NexusTek a great place to work.

Pros

I’ve been with NexusTek for about a year, and it’s been a very positive experience overall. The company has a collaborative and supportive culture where people genuinely want to help each other succeed. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and open to feedback, which makes a big difference in feeling valued and heard. NexusTek does a great job investing in its people—there are solid opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. The teams work well together, and there’s a strong sense of partnership across departments. I’ve appreciated the trust given to employees and the flexibility to manage work effectively while still delivering results. The company is also forward-thinking and continues to evolve, which makes the work interesting and impactful. It’s a great environment for professionals who want to build relationships, expand their skill set, and be part of a growing organization.

Cons

Like any growing company, things can move quickly and priorities can shift, which may require flexibility and adaptability. However, leadership is open about changes and works to communicate clearly.
