Pros
Expectations are clearly expressed. Students are mostly respectful. Many of your co-workers are also adjuncts. That helps.
Cons
Pay isn't great. You never know from semester to semester if they are offering you a class. Adjuncts are treated like second class people even though we have the same degrees as the full time faculty and we are doing the same job.
