Pros
Good brand name and heritage - but losing relevance very quickly
Cons
Mitch Barnes de-emphasized technology until it was too late and competitors had passed Nielsen by.....and now Nielsen is struggling to catch up. Hiring and career development practices are so focused on minority/female candidates that there is constant discrimination against non-minority males. Several layoffs have occurred that targeted higher salary, older employees to such a degree that it's shocking they haven't faced a class action lawsuit.
