Work with dedicated people all pulling to make the product better - Software Engineer NinjaOne Employee Review

Pros

Many software teams work like a team in Golf where you play individually and then you tally the combined score. NinjaOne is more like a basketball team where everyone really plays together, assisting each other and collaborating very closely. In the engineering team and the company at large, you know that you're really contributing to continually making the product better and providing value to customers.

Cons

Could be a downside depending on how you look at it, but Ninja is a place that highly values engagement so and collaboration so for lone-wolfs, it may not be a fit.

Pros

Strong culture with talented people who genuinely care about customers and product quality. Remote-first environment provides flexibility, leadership is generally approachable, and employees have opportunities to influence products that directly impact customers. The company continues to grow and invest in engineering, creating opportunities for career development.

Cons

Rapid growth and frequent changes in business priorities can create challenges with planning and execution. Customer escalations and urgent initiatives sometimes disrupt roadmap commitments, leading to context switching and shifting expectations. As the organization scales, communication and alignment between teams can occasionally become difficult.

Pros

Great company culture, strong leadership, and incredible teammates. NinjaOne offers plenty of opportunities for professional growth while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment. I'm proud to be part of a company that values its employees and is committed to delivering exceptional results for customers.

Cons

The rapid growth and fast-paced environment can sometimes lead to shifting priorities and evolving processes. Employees need to be comfortable with change and ambiguity. That said, these challenges are typical of a high-growth company and also create opportunities for learning and career.
