Pros

The company has some history that can be built on. Good market to participate with value add opportunity to keep manufacturing in US. Low cost countries are a threat to commodity product.

Cons

Purchased by a Japan based company and destroyed market position. Purchase was only a small division making the company a small business in the US without a complete product offering. Manufacturing sites micro managed by regional headquarters.
