Pros

Vacation package. Facilities. Unlike Booz or SAIC, management makes an effort to locate coverage for employees when business is slow. The fact the company is non-profit allows one to work on projects that an SAIC or Booz would not be allowed to work on.

Cons

There are so many principals and leads etc that there is no room for advancement. Also, at one point or another, you will have tasks to perform that you may not like. Raises are predetermined for the most part. Employees who deal with the clients feed themselves first before bringing others onto a project. Employees who do not deal with clients directly typically do not get advanced.

Pros

Everything. Management and co-workers were extraordinary. Work was rewarding. Had many opportunities to learn and lead our customer in technical directions.

Cons

As a subcontractor, there was a few weeks delay in getting paid, but that was resolved over time.
