Pros

Mark Newman (CEO) has an amazing vision for building a health care company that replaces the broken system of delayed and expensive insurance payments with instant payments and instant care at half the typical health care cost. The management team at Nomi Health has a keen eye for market opportunity, and moving quickly to capitalize on it. Nomi Health is serious about profit sharing, and has the best compensation and benefit package of any other company that I know. The work at Nomi Health is fast paced and challenging, but very rewarding. The company ladder is wide open to those who work hard and are successful in challenging situations. Nomi Health is already making a difference in health care, with a presence in all 50 states, and over 12 million unique patients served in the past 2 years, and over 8000 providers in the Nomi Health network. I am very proud of the ways that Nomi Health gives back to local communities. Nomi Health remains profitable and wants to stay that way to be able to control its own destiny.

Cons

Nomi Health is a health care start-up, and startups have high risk of unemployment but also the potential for high rewards. Working at Nomi Health is not for the faint of heart, because the deadlines and work are fast paced and very demanding.

Pros

Great insurance benefits and a mission that's easy to believe in.

Cons

The biggest issue is understaffing. The workload exceeds the team's capacity, leading to frequent late hours and burnout. Investing in more employees would make this a much better place to work. Long hours and after-hours work have become the norm. I want this to be a great place to work again, and the team needs the support to make that happen.
