Pros

Very flexible. Work is remote

Cons

Where to start... First off, they pay coaches terribly. And you can do extra work by being in a 'guild' and not get paid any more for that extra work. Don't expect to get to use any of your knowledge aside from motivational interviewing. You're a Dietitian? Doesn't matter! you don't get to use your knowledge to actually help people make healthy changes. The simple-minded plan behind the 'sustainable' weight loss is calories in, calories out. Get ready to use lots of gifs and emojis or be accused of not being "Noomy" enough. Stay away and get a job where you can actually help people make healthy change. The ONLY reason I stay is for the flexibility

Pros

Great company to work for, hybrid schedule, generous PTO, office snacks

Cons

Let me start by saying Noom has been the best job I ever had. That being said, the culture has been slowly changing. A few years ago we got a new CEO and he's been bringing in all his people from his previous company. At this point half of the company is from the CEO's previous company. Not necessarily a bad thing on its own, except that the people that come from his previous company are receiving preferential treatment when it comes to promotions, salary, opportunities. At the same time, people who have been at Noom for a long time are bieng put on the back seat, and a lot of people even being pushed out
