The recent leadership changes and current state of the business means you will be focused on modernizing while trying to maintain those crusty old systems. Most of the people who had tribal knowledge on how to maintain them are gone.
They days of perks like Innovation Bootcamp, Unstructured Time (for self development and hacking), Hackathons, the various labs working on interesting problems are all gone. Perhaps innovation will once again be important when sales pick up but for now it's all about just staying afloat.
The innovators, thought leaders, and brightest employees have left or are on their way out. Don't trust who you interview with will be there for long unless they've been brought in by new leadership over the last 8 months.
