Pros
More open to remote work these days. Profit sharing and safe harbor for 401k means getting a pretty nice contribution from the company without having to take anything away from your paycheck.
Cons
Health insurance is booku bonkers expensive. If you have chronic health problems you'd better set aside $1000s a year. The company always wants more and more work with less and less employees and then when it's time for merit based pay raises, even with an exceptional review, you get the same 2% as everyone else. Same for bonuses. Some resistance to remote work before pandemic hit even though now everyone in the C-suite can't image forcing anyone back into the office 5 days a week. Typical short sidedness of upper management here. They even tried to switch to a new EMR and when it tanked productivity and didn't work well with what we do, they tried to get a refund and failed. Not sure if there's anyone in the driver's seat of this bus most days. Also virtually 0 opportunity for growth and advancement.
