Pros
Good salaries and benefits. Upper management seems to be trying to change the culture- not successfully, but trying.
Cons
Chronically understaffed departments.. Promotions not based on merit- it's who you know. Mid- and low-level management woefully undertrained in HR and leadership skills. Management does not care. Management tends to pass the bucket- no one is responsible for making decisions
