Pros
There are some amazing people trying to do good work but are undermined by incompetent managers.
Cons
instability, Us vs. Them (new hospital in Braselton vs. flagship hospital in Gainesville), leadership at separate campuses are not aligned, lack of follow through, hospital is not safe = obtained low rating from DNV (their accrediting body). Every 16-20 hrs a person is injured or harmed prior to the information reaching the huddle board/leaders don't know until its too late. RNs say they want process improvements but are not willing to complete the work it takes; therefore keeping the status quo is the norm. There are many people who obtained their position because they are a family friend or related to someone of someone etc. The hospitals are located in small rural towns (visual diversity is nonexistent). The pay for RNs are low compared to other hospitals. If the job description advertise "equal to Atlanta pay" that is a ploy to get you in the door. Remember always ask 5 - 10k more than the initial offer, HR will lie its not their job to give you what you are worth.
