Patient population Some people may thrive better than others here. I would recommend asking lots of questions at your interview. The person who interviewed me was honest and I appreciate that.
Cons
High productivity expectations Inadequate staffing for 2-assist patients Some patients are a 2-assist for transfers/gait/mobility, and it is up to you to find someone to assist when needed (this can be challenging as everyone else is also very busy). Interdisciplinary teamwork could be better Productivity expectations assume a perfect day with zero interruptions or problems--it can be very challenging to make up time with a patient when you have no gaps in your schedule. I was reprimanded for things that were beyond my control There was a lot of negative chatter among employees; it was not a very positive atmosphere
