Pros
Large system, opportunity for inexperienced nurses to gain management experience. They hire nurses with less than 1 year or 2 as assistant nurse managers.
Cons
You will never get raises. Only administrators and managers get bonuses. They do not pay you for your experience. No transparency about pay scale. HR will not help you understand, and you must fear retaliation asking too many questions. No specialty pay. i.e ICU, ER, Case management.
