Pros

They are growing at an immense pace so it keeps you on your toes. There are endless ways to continue learning with their fantastic Center For Learning and Innovation that provides a broad array of courses, certifications etc. to keep your skills sharp.

Cons

They talk about work-life balance but aren't really committed to it. In HR especially, there is an expectation to always be "on". Their turnover in HR and in general is pretty high. In the time I worked their they over 15 people left the HR department- none of which lasted much more than one year and a half. Leadership is condescending, malicious and discriminatory. Don't worry to move up the ladder if you aren't part of a certain clique. Raising employee relations issues only results in retaliation even though they claim they encourage employees to speak up.

Office setting; nice people, cafeteria

Cons

Overworked and severely underpaid, short staffed for the amount of patients they intake to the program (on the clinician side and administrative), very low pay for administrative workers, little to no real benefits (PTO is not front loaded but trickled in: 1 hour accumulated per pay period - it would take about 4 months to accumulate 1 full day of PTO. Sick time is a similar trickle system so you end up taking a lot of unpaid time until you can’t), due to that it’s impossible to not get burnt out. The union also hasn’t negotiated a good contract if these conditions exist for those at the basic level. Food in the cafeteria is not great and sometimes gives people the runs. Also it’s expensive (full price despite working for the org; they cannot even give discounts which is weird considering how much the CEO makes and how little we do). Feel abandoned and not properly compensated. Deeply exhausted.
