Pros

The only good things about working here were some of the people I worked with and also some of the providers I worked for.

Cons

Have so many responsibilities that it's hard to get on time. Organization is strict about overtime so it's hard to get all of your work done w/o getting overtime. For training there is no check list of what is required to go over and learn to make sure you know how to do it. The organization does not seem to care about clinics and how short staffed the clinics are. There are office managers that are not clinical and do not understand the clinical side of things.

Pros

Fast paced, can be easy job. Great people to work with.

Cons

Have to have all northwest doctors to make the insurance worth it. Doctors and people can treat you poorly just for being the person in their way.

Pros

The rehab team is a good group of people who communicates well with each other. They are flexible with scheduling for the most part.

Cons

Management never communicates effectively. Always finds excuses and puts blame back on their clinicians. No support from rehab management when we get push back from nursing or the hospital management. Really poor expectations and pressure constantly. Overworked for no additional compensation. I have seen minimal pay adjustment after being there for over 5-7 years. They never have any solutions when issues arise and they will always blame you. Poorly run. People constantly leave and we are constantly understaffed. Pay is mediocre. They constantly take away benefits like PTO and we no longer get time and a half for holidays but are expected to work them all. Working here is settling and I would stay far away from both Porter and La Porte if you can.
