Good but to much micromanaging - Medical Assistant Northwest Health La Porte Employee Review

Fast paced, can be easy job. Great people to work with.

Have to have all northwest doctors to make the insurance worth it. Doctors and people can treat you poorly just for being the person in their way.

The only good things about working here were some of the people I worked with and also some of the providers I worked for.

Have so many responsibilities that it's hard to get on time. Organization is strict about overtime so it's hard to get all of your work done w/o getting overtime. For training there is no check list of what is required to go over and learn to make sure you know how to do it. The organization does not seem to care about clinics and how short staffed the clinics are. There are office managers that are not clinical and do not understand the clinical side of things.
