Pros
-Most of the office staff (assistants/general staff) were great and I made some great connections and friendships during the 2 years I was employed here. -Okay temporary position, I used it as a stepping stone and left voluntarily months ago when I found a better opportunity.
Cons
**The following statements may vary by who your employing rep is. -The office environment is sub-par, it's segregated and stuffy. It took me months to start meeting people. Many of the reps are cold and uninviting, especially the more senior ones. -If you are hired for one job, be prepared to have your role change regularly, without any additional compensation or consent. -You're treated like an object, not a human being. Your thoughts/opinions/feelings mean nothing to your superiors, and are irrelevant. They only matter if it benefits them financially. -No HR/Legal department. If you have any concerns you have nowhere to go and you have to fend for yourself. -Poor benefits/compensation. Not at all competitive. -Nothing is documented. It's your word against your hiring FR, and theirs will always trump yours. -Communication in general is greatly lacking. For example: if a staff member who plays a key role in the office is hired or if they leave, you find out via word of mouth. -Very high turnover. Most positions are revolving doors. This is a result of all the above listed reasons. -If you work for a team of reps: be prepared to have no consistency. When I gave my notice, I told my "HR department" (one of the four reps I worked for) I had 7 unused PTO days and I asked if I would be compensated for them. I was told no, they didn't have a policy for that. My teammate who quit at the same time I did is receiving compensation for her unused vacation days.
