Pros

"Unlimited earning potential," solid possibilities if one is already connected to many well-to-do friends and family, $4,000 initial support payment paid provided certain requirements were met.

Cons

Requirement to leverage friendships and relationships to sell unnecessary whole-life insurance plans, limited support for new advisers, I was required to complete series 6, 66, and PA Life, Health & Accidental Death exams within 5 weeks after I graduated.

Pros

The company has an immense amount of resources to help employees be successful. They also invest so much into the professional development of their employees.

Cons

It's not an easy role to be in. You have to take personal risk and step out of your comfort zone. There's a lot of ups and downs in the role

Pros

Environment & Team: Goes hand in hand. Leadership is supportive without micromanaging, gives you many resources and opportunities to grow. I like that it is a big enough team to have multiple perspectives yet small enough that everyone knows each other well. Great team environment - hangs out outside of work, checks in with each other, and has fun! Growth - there is so much growth opportunity as long as you want it. No matter what position you start in, you can grow into anything in the company! Your growth is also supported - they are always giving you opportunities to learn and discuss your vision.

Cons

They push you to succeed and that can be hard. There is accountability - if you aren't doing what you said you wanted to do, you'll be held to it. Though, I would rather be held to a higher standard than allowed to flounder at my job.
