The pay, benefits, and location were fine. Lots of free La Croix, fresh fruit delivered every week. Nice pens.
Cons
Everything related to the job and the people were terrible. Don't get me wrong, the attorneys were nice enough. It was the administrative staff that made my life hell. I was ignored for the better part of a year by my boss and coworkers. I had nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs and count the ways my life was made worse with every moment I spent in this wretched place. The staff was cold and awful to deal with. Inconsequential mistakes (like forgetting chicken on a salad order - oh my!) were treated as colossal failures - and honestly the only time anyone would actually engage with me. To pitch a fit about chicken. What an enormous waste of time and energy. The few times I worked with others on projects was horrible -- I was belittled and talked down to by people incapable of communicating what they even needed. Any time I asked for clarification it was interpreted as major pushback and projects would squander. During my last week a woman decided I wasn't working enough (extra funny since no one ever gave me anything to do!) and forged a campaign to get my pay decreased for my last check, all because I missed an email asking for a menu (easy google search, btw), then called when I was on break. But obviously that meant I deserved less money. So petty, so unnecessary. Way to go, guys. I lasted less than a year. It was still too long.
