Pros
I worked at a family physicians office where my schedule was Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. . It's a great job if you love what you do and if you want overtime, there's plenty to be had.
Cons
My first office I worked at fired me because I forgot to clock out for lunch. I did fight that termination and after two appeals I got my job back. Very cut-throat if you ask me considering I had a completely clear record with no write ups or any type of discipline and i was y months pregnant at the time. Also when I was rehired at my new office I had to go on maternity leave because I was fired at shortly after I started. I was only out for 12 weeks and when I came back I didn't have a desk or a computer to work at for 2 months. I contacted HR numerous times as well as spoke with my "manager" and nothing was resolved. I used quotations around manager because there wasn't a manager in the office, we had the clerical supervisor acting as a manager until they could find a new one. Just very messy and very unprofessional.
