Pros

The pay was average. Loved the patients and people I worked with. LOVED my job!

Cons

Management is manipulating! The employee handbook is NOT isn't written to include management, but when convenient for managers, they will use and quote it back to the average employee. Too many people employed in upper management, but not enough employed at the patient level. Not a very good work environment under some managers - others were GREAT. It's one extreme or the other.

Pros

Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

Cons

sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
