Pros

Fantastic benefits Generally good compensation EPIC EMR is a leader in the field and makes job easier High quality physicians to work with, provide great care They have a sizeable marketshare

Cons

Not very focused on physician experience. Physicians are a commodity and not really respected by administration. Administration manages the physicians, as opposed to working together. Physician input on direction of organization limited to those physicians that have migrated to management level and are generally not providing direct patient care.

Pros

Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

Cons

sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
