Pros

Fair wages, Case Management and above positions are treated well and kept well informed. This is a busy company. They are one of the elite in their field, and are growing very fast, in certain US locations. Jenna Noem is easy to contact and an exciting woman to speak with. She truly believes in her company. Our patients receive excellent care. I have always felt that I could provide each patient with anything they needed to be safe and comfortable and NCP would be supportive of my decision(s).

Cons

That said... They have poor insurance and really poor time off/holiday pay accrual. Huge REDUNDANCIES in documentation and the review process. Excessive number of IT systems are required to complete work, to access pay information, to access health coverage info (several), to find a policies, to submit patient information (Google scanning is terrible), too many gmail auto notifications (form every , system listed above).

We feel fortunate to be able to offer our team members schedule flexibility, more work-life balance, the ability to create meaningful long-term relationships with patients, growth opportunities, leadership support and more. We have also established a culture initiative to ensure our core values and culture are felt by every employee at every level. Our branch offices have adopted culture activities and meaningful outreach methods to spread and share our culture both company- and nation-wide. At NCP we take pride in doing the right thing, owning it, making connections, and being kind. We are always looking for ways to improve, so again, thank you for your valuable feedback.

Pros

As an RN working PRN, I have flexibility to choose my work days. There is a minimum requirement of 12 hours per month. I work in the patient's home as a home health nurse. I enjoy meeting and getting to know my patients and their families, teaching them about their health, and supporting their care journey as part of the health care team.

Cons

Communication between nurses can be sometimes difficult if something is not mentioned during nurses report. But we can always email the case manager or call the nurse if we have a question. I have seen it improved when we have a notebook to log daily cares and concerns in the home.
