Pros
While Nuix was on the upswing, it was a challenging and fulfilling environment. I made a decent income and had semi-autonomy in my daily work for the first two years.
Cons
Nuix has lost its way. While positioning itself to either be bought by another company or to go public, they have essentially cut the employees bringing in the revenue, not back-filling positions, and questioning "whether or not we even want that business" (referring to U.S. Public Sector vertical markets). Nuix has also gone down the exact same road, almost as if on a rail, as its two primary competitors (AccessData and Guidance Software), by attempting to pivot from forensics and eDiscovery into "Cyber". Upper Management has forgotten the very customers who pay to keep the light on, their development of core products has been tabled while they work on their next-gen cyber offering, which is giving them a bad name in the markets served the past several years. As much as I enjoyed most of my time with Nuix, I cannot in good conscience recommend it as a long term workplace for anyone.
